Waltz in A Flat by Ruth Pheasant
PDF piano sheet music of an original composition by Ruth Pheasant.
This is a piece of music I wrote for piano to help students learn chord patterns in various forms, and to develop aspects of technique including:
- Coordination between the hands.
- Bringing out a melody above accompaniment.
- Spatial awareness of the piano keyboard; and confidence and ability to find different hand positions quickly. covering a wide range of the keyboard with large jumps.
- Legato chord technique.
This piece of music is in the key of A flat major, so it has four flats in the key signature, and it is about grade four to five standard. The sheet music includes dynamics and fingering, and consists of two pages of A4.
